POSITION SUMMARY:
As an IT Associate, your role involves providing day-to-day operational support for existing infrastructure services and desktop systems. This includes tasks such as backup and restore processes, tape handling, inventory management, and maintaining service ticket records. Additionally, you’ll monitor and maintain infrastructure software platforms, manage user/password compliance for manufacturing/laboratory system, and oversee the company’s IT network, servers, and security systems. Your responsibilities extend to investigating network issues, collecting usage statistics, recommending system improvements, and performing routine configuration and installation of IT solutions. Collaborating with relevant teams to address incidents and create viable workarounds is also part of your service delivery responsibilities.
OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Activity
Provide day-to-day operational support for existing infrastructure services and desktop support. This includes tasks such as backup and restore, tape handling, inventory management, and maintaining service ticket records.
Monitoring
Monitor, support, and maintain infrastructure software platforms, including server/client operating systems, reporting platforms, VPN, and other software-based systems. Additionally, manage user/password compliance (21 CFR Part 11) for manufacturing/laboratory system and review related activities.
Program and Projects
Responsible for maintaining the company’s IT network, servers, and security systems. Duties include investigating and diagnosing network issues, collecting IT usage statistics, making recommendations for system improvements, and performing routine configuration and installation of IT solutions. Access point configuration.
Service Delivery
Develop operational, installation, configuration, and upgrade documentation for communication systems, hardware, network security, storage, software, and other computer-related systems. Collaborate with relevant teams to create corrective actions or viable workarounds for incident resolution, including third-party involvement when necessary.
